# Saucepan vs Allrecipes

https://getsaucepan.com/fr/vs/allrecipes

Allrecipes is built around a free recipe website with ratings and reviews from home cooks. Its app was withdrawn in March 2023. Saucepan saves recipes from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and websites, shows which ones you can make tonight, and cooks them hands-free. Pick Saucepan if you want an iPhone app with Cook Mode and timers, a meal plan with a grocery list, and a pantry filled by scanning a receipt.

## Saucepan en action

Tap a mark for the note. “Not found” means we looked on their own pages and did not see it. Allrecipes is not a recipe app, so rows where we found nothing for either side are left out.

## Where Allrecipes is stronger

- **Web app.** On allrecipes.com you can browse, save (to MyRecipes), rate, review, add photos, scale and print recipes, and keep your own personal recipes. [allrecipes.com](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/24074/alysias-basic-meat-lasagna/) Saucepan: partly. Your library, collections and grocery list at getsaucepan.com/app.

## Un outil général, pas une app de recettes

Allrecipes keeps whatever you put in it. It does not read a Reel into ingredients and steps, sort a grocery list or run a timer for you, as far as its own pages say. That is the job Saucepan does.
