# How to save a recipe from Pinterest

Open the Pinterest post, tap Share, and choose Saucepan. Saucepan reads the caption and saves the recipe with ingredients and steps. If Saucepan is missing from the Share row, tap More and turn it on.

Most pins link to a recipe on a blog. Saucepan follows the link and saves the recipe without the ads and the long story.

## Steps

1. Open the pin in Pinterest.
2. Tap **Share**.
3. Choose **Saucepan**. If you do not see it, scroll to the end of the row, tap **More**, and turn on Saucepan.
4. Check the recipe Saucepan made. Imports are a draft, and you can edit anything.

## If the recipe is missing details

If a site blocks reading, copy the recipe text and paste it in.

You can also copy the link and paste it into Saucepan.

Recipes from other people are for your own cooking. Do not publish them as your own.
