# Saucepan vs Apple Notes

Apple Notes is built around free notes that sync through iCloud. Saucepan saves recipes from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, websites, cookbook pages, handwritten cards, screenshots, shows what you can make tonight, and cooks hands-free. Choose Saucepan if you want recipes kept as recipes, with ingredients, steps and timers, a grocery list sorted by aisle, and what you can make from your pantry.
