How to save a recipe from Facebook

Open the Facebook post, tap Share, and choose Saucepan. Saucepan reads the caption, the on-screen text and the narration and saves the recipe with ingredients and steps. If Saucepan is missing from the Share row, tap More and turn it on.

Facebook recipes are usually a post with the details in the text or a video.

Steps

  1. Open the post or Reel in Facebook.
  2. Tap Share.
  3. Choose Saucepan. If you do not see it, scroll to the end of the row, tap More, and turn on Saucepan.
  4. Check the recipe Saucepan made. Imports are a draft, and you can edit anything.

If the recipe is missing details

If a post is in a private group, share it from your own phone as you see it.

You can also copy the link and paste it into Saucepan.

Recipes from other people are for your own cooking. Do not publish them as your own.
