Community Guidelines
Saucepan is a place to share food you love with people you like. These guidelines keep it warm, useful, and safe, in public and in the collections and households you share. They’re part of our Terms of Use, which has the full details.
Share what’s yours
- Publish recipes you created, or ones you’ve really made your own.
- Credit your inspiration. If you adapted someone’s recipe, say whose. Make It Mine adds the credit for you, so please leave it in.
- Use your own photos. Don’t repost a creator’s photos or videos, even with credit.
- Saved a recipe from Instagram, TikTok, or a website? Great. It’s in your library for you to cook. Don’t publish it as your own.
Be kind
- Disagree about whether pineapple goes on pizza. Don’t insult the person.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate. That includes attacks based on race, religion, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or illness.
- No sexual content, and nothing involving minors that’s inappropriate in any way.
- Don’t share other people’s private information or photos of people who didn’t say yes.
Keep food safe
- Don’t post recipes with non-food or dangerous ingredients.
- Don’t call a recipe “allergen-free” or “safe for allergies”. Saucepan can’t promise that, and neither can you. Say what’s in it instead.
- No miracle cures or medical claims. “This soup is cozy” is fine. “This soup cures colds” isn’t.
- Share risky techniques (canning, fermenting, raw dishes) responsibly, with safe methods.
Keep it real
- No spam, scams, fake accounts, or mass following and liking.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else, or a brand.
- No ads or sponsored posts unless we’ve said that’s allowed.
If something’s wrong
- Report it. Tap … on any recipe, post, comment, or profile, then Report. Reports are private.
- Block it. Blocked people can’t see your posts or interact with you. Manage blocks in Settings → Blocked accounts.
- Copyright problem? Use Report → Copyright or stolen recipe, or see the copyright section of our Terms.
What we do
We review reports quickly, usually within a day. Depending on what happened, we may remove content, limit an account, or ban it. Serious things, like threats or anything that endangers a child, get an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities. We’ll tell you why if we take action on your content, and you can appeal by emailing support@goldtechsolutions.net.
Thanks for helping make Saucepan a good place to cook together.
