How to save a recipe from TikTok

Open the TikTok post, tap Share, and choose Saucepan. Saucepan reads the caption, the on-screen text and the narration and saves the recipe with ingredients and steps. If Saucepan is missing from the Share row, tap More and turn it on.

A TikTok recipe moves fast. Saving it turns the video into ingredients and steps you can follow without scrubbing back.

Steps

Open the video in TikTok.
Tap Share.
Choose Saucepan. If you do not see it, scroll to the end of the row, tap More, and turn on Saucepan.
Check the recipe Saucepan made. Imports are a draft, and you can edit anything.

If the recipe is missing details

Short videos often skip quantities. Saucepan saves what is said or shown, so add amounts after your first cook.

You can also copy the link and paste it into Saucepan.

Recipes from other people are for your own cooking. Do not publish them as your own.
