In a small pot, combine 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, then pour the hot vinegar over the onion until completely submerged, pushing the onion down if needed. Close the lid and let it cool at room temperature, then store in the fridge.2Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the beef, oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, black pepper, and grated garlic. Toss to mix well and marinate for about 30 minutes, stirring once or twice in between.3Step 3: Once the beef is done marinating, add a little cooking oil and toss to coat.4Step 4: Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add a little oil, then place the beef cubes in one layer so they are not touching. Let sear without moving until the bottom side is well browned, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Shake the pan to release the beef and toss to flip. If any pieces are unflipped, flip them individually with tongs.5Step 5: Add the tomatoes and scatter them around the pan, letting them sear for about 20 seconds. Shake the pan again to mix the tomatoes with the beef. Continue cooking until the beef reaches your desired doneness. If you like it pink, remove within a minute of adding the tomatoes; otherwise, keep cooking and tossing occasionally. Remove from the pan immediately.getsaucepan.com/r/184cf881-4dff-49f4-aa27-c5d27fe45857 · Original: https://hot-thai-kitchen.com/shaking-beef/
