Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, then add broth until you reach a peanut butter-like consistency. Beat the mixture for about 10 minutes. Test readiness by dropping a small amount in cold water. Adjust salt to taste and keep covered to prevent drying.2Step 2: Spread some masa dough on a corn husk and add your filling of choice. We used a slow roasted pork shoulder seasoned with red chile sauce. Then we added some cheese for extra good measure.3Step 3: Wrap the tamales up by rolling the corn husk over the filling. Seal the end by folding it over the top then set it aside while you finish wrapping all of them.4Step 4: Place the tamales in a steamer basket over simmering water, cover, and let them steam until the masa is cooked through.getsaucepan.com/r/271e6210-8df4-4b72-82a8-be38efa54812 · Original: https://savorthebest.com/?p=78003
