Peel, devein and butterfly prawns. Cut the Monkfish into bite-sized chunks and set everything aside.2Step 2: In a large Cataplana (or a heavy-duty pot with a lid), heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.3Step 3: Add the capsicum to the pot, sautéing until they begin to soften (about 5 minutes). Then, stir in the chopped tomatoes, potatoes, bay leaf, paprika, and crushed chilli flakes (if using). Let this mixture simmer gently for approx 5 minutes.4Step 4: Pour in the white wine, stir. Allow the alcohol to cook off, simmering for another 3 minutes.5Step 5: Add the pipis, prawns, and fish chunks to the pot, stirring lightly to coat the seafood with the sauce. Cover the cataplana (or pot) with the lid. Cook for approx 10 minutes, until the pipis have opened, the prawns are pink, and the fish is tender.6Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Discard any pipis that haven't opened. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.7Step 7: Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side, alongside some warmed crusty sour dough bread (optional).getsaucepan.com/r/31657bb6-84c9-45c6-b7ef-77716ceb2c3d · Original: https://holisticpillars.com/recipe/cataplana-portuguese-seafood-stew/
