Easy Bavarian Cream Puff Recipe

1. 1Step 1: In a medium sauce pan, mix the sugar, flour, and salt with a whisk. Gradually add the milk and mix well.
2. 2Step 2: In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and add them to the pan. Mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly, until it becomes thick and has the consistency of pudding.
3. 3Step 3: Take off heat and add the butter and vanilla to the pan, stirring until well combined and the butter is melted. Cool completely. You can put it in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.
4. 4Step 4: You have just created a vanilla custard. To give it a Bavarian cream texture, it needs to be a little lighter. Take the 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream, whip it until soft peaks form, and gently fold the whipped cream into the custard mixture.
