1. 1Step 1: Roast the green beans on a thin pan, stirring constantly to roast them evenly.
2. 2Step 2: Let the fresh roast cool, then grind it fresh using an automatic burr grinder. Traditionally, a wooden bowl and a thin stick similar to a mortar and pestle are used to grind the beans into a fine powder.
3. 3Step 3: Transfer the coffee grind into a jebena, a black clay pot with a long neck. Pour water into the pot and heat for a brief time.
4. 4Step 4: Pour the coffee into a colorful ceramic cup from a height, adding a dramatic element to the pour.
