Set aside and let it sit until foamy, about 10 minutes.2Step 2: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the eggs and mix until light and fluffy.3Step 3: Add the milk, evaporated milk, butter, sugar, and yeast mixture. Mix until well combined.4Step 4: With the motor running, slowly add the flour and salt. Mix the dough until well combined and smooth.5Step 5: Transfer the dough to a lightly greased mixing bowl and cover with a towel. Place in a warm, dark area and allow to rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.6Step 6: Remove the dough onto a floured surface. Roll the dough to about 1 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter, cup, or any round shape, cut the dough. Place the dough rounds onto a greased cookie sheet. Cover with a towel and allow to rest.7Step 7: Place sugar in a large bowl and set aside. Heat oil of choice in a medium saucepan over medium high heat until the oil reaches 375F. Place the malasadas in the oil to fry. Do not crowd the malasadas. Fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes on each side.8Step 8: Remove the malasadas from the oil and place on a cooling rack over a cookie sheet. Once slightly cooled, place them in the bowl with sugar and toss to coat.getsaucepan.com/r/4e61fe58-bc26-48d1-8df6-223037d77497 · Original: https://keepingitrelle.com/easy-hawaiian-style-malasadas-recipe/
