Remove the crusts either way.2Step 2: Cut shrimp into small pieces if needed, depending on size (very small ones may not need cutting). Place in a bowl and add mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, and mustard. Mix until well combined and the sauce is evenly distributed. Set aside.3Step 3: Prepare garnishes: pick small dill pieces and cut lemon slices into small wedges.4Step 4: Warm about half the butter in a wide skillet over medium heat. Add bread slices and toast until lightly golden, watching closely as they can darken quickly.5Step 5: Turn the bread and toast the other side, adding the remaining butter so the second sides get some for even golden, buttery results. Once golden, remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess butter.6Step 6: Assemble just before serving: place a spoonful of shrimp mixture on each toast. Top with a small spoonful of roe in the middle, and add a lemon wedge and a dill piece as garnish.getsaucepan.com/r/827d9308-543f-4e8b-80b4-c05cc68f7228 · Original: https://www.carolinescooking.com/toast-skagen/
