1 Step 1: Pre-heat your oven to 190c. Line a large baking tray with baking paper and leave it aside.2 Step 2: In a pan, add the spinach and place it onto medium heat.3 Step 3: Heat until the spinach softens and loses most of its volume, which will only take a few minutes.4 Step 4: Take the spinach out of the pan, squeeze the excess water out of it, and roughly chop it.5 Step 5: In the same pan, add some oil and place it back onto medium heat.6 Step 6: Add the chopped onions and cook them until they soften and brown, then take off the heat.7 Step 7: Add the spinach to the pan. Crumble the feta and add it too, along with the seasonings. Mix everything until combined.8 Step 8: Leave the filling aside to cool down for about 10-20 minutes. It is okay for the filling to be slightly warm, but not hot.9 Step 9: Get a sheet of filo pastry and brush it lightly with melted butter. Add another sheet of pastry on top and brush it with more butter.10 Step 10: Add some of the filling to the bottom edge of the pastry, then roll it up into a log. Do not roll it tightly because filo pastry is delicate and breaks easily; just roll it.11 Step 11: Roll the log into a spiral and place it onto the prepared baking tray. Repeat until all pastry sheets are used.12 Step 12: Brush the top of them lightly with beaten egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.13 Step 13: Bake for around 40 minutes, or until they are a deep golden brown colour and crispy.14 Step 14: Once baked, let them cool down for a few minutes, then enjoy.getsaucepan.com/r/89257673-7581-43b7-a49c-5cf21d1c3f9c · Original: https://ashbaber.com/turkish-borek/
