Mix until well combined and set aside.2Step 2: In the bowl of a stand mixer, add 1/4 cup of the milk, poi, egg, and butter. Using the paddle attachment, mix until well combined. Then add the purple food coloring and mix until the color is evenly distributed.3Step 3: Remove the paddle attachment and replace it with the dough hook.4Step 4: Add the flour mixture in sections, mixing until well combined. Slowly add the remaining milk as needed. The amount needed will vary depending on the brand of poi and the humidity.5Step 5: Knead the dough on medium speed for 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth. This is a wet dough. You can tell it is done when you can touch the dough with clean hands and it does not stick to your fingers.6Step 6: Divide the dough into 15 pieces and form each into a smooth ball.7Step 7: Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or grease with butter or oil. Place the dough balls in 5 rows of 3. Cover with a dish towel and allow to rise until doubled in size. This will vary depending on temperature and humidity.8Step 8: Preheat the oven to 325F.9Step 9: Once the dough has doubled, bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops of the rolls just begin to brown.10Step 10: Allow to cool slightly and enjoy.getsaucepan.com/r/94a61078-174e-489c-8d4d-c66068ca0891 · Original: https://keepingitrelle.com/taro-rolls/
