Knead for about 8-10 minutes until the dough is firm and elastic. Divide the dough into four equal pieces, wrap each in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.2Step 2: In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, grated onion, salt, and pul biber. Stir until well combined. Set aside while you roll out the dough.3Step 3: Lightly flour a large baking sheet and set aside. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out one piece of dough into a thin sheet, about 1/16-inch thick.4Step 4: Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into 1-inch squares. Place about 1/4 teaspoon of the beef filling in the center of each square.5Step 5: Shape the manti by pinching the opposite corners of each square together, forming a small bundle. Place the dumplings on the floured baking sheet.6Step 6: Repeat with the remaining dough and filling. Lightly toss the manti with flour to prevent sticking.7Step 7: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the manti in batches, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.8Step 8: Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the dumplings float and the dough is tender.9Step 9: Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked manti to a bowl and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.10Step 10: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil, pepper paste, and tomato paste, stirring to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the pul biber and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.11Step 11: In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, salt, grated garlic, and dried mint. Adjust seasoning if needed. Keep chilled until serving.12Step 12: To serve, spread a generous layer of garlicky yogurt on a serving plate. Top with cooked manti, drizzle with more yogurt, and spoon the tomato butter sauce over. Sprinkle with extra dried mint or Aleppo pepper if desired.getsaucepan.com/r/99e5dc80-cc5e-43d1-992e-130dd401f501 · Original: https://www.unicornsinthekitchen.com/turkish-manti-recipe/
