Always use a thin layer of water in the empty pan before you add the milk. Also add a small steel plate to the pot. Keep the heat on medium and stir every 7-8 minutes to prevent the milk from scorching.2Step 2: Cook the milk until it reduces to about 3/4 its original quantity. It takes about 45 minutes on medium heat. Mash the dates every now and then to infuse their flavor and color into the milk.3Step 3: Meanwhile, in a separate pan, heat 1/2 tbsp of ghee and fry the nuts until golden brown. Then add the raisins and fry until they puff up. Remove them to a plate.4Step 4: In the same pan, heat the remaining ghee and fry the vermicelli to get some flavor from the ghee.5Step 5: Once the milk cooks down, add the sugar. Mix well and cook until the sugar dissolves.6Step 6: Add the fried vermicelli and cook for about 10 minutes until they become tender.7Step 7: Add the fried nuts and raisins and let it cook for 10 more minutes.8Step 8: Serve warm or chilled. The sheer khorma thickens when it cools, so if it thickens too much, add a little more milk and heat it. Adjust the sugar as needed.getsaucepan.com/r/a2d71ed1-0383-43e6-8f83-6f8200d2a078 · Original: https://www.mycookingjourney.com/sheer-khorma-sheer-khurma-for-eid-dates/
