The dough should look hydrated but not watery. If it's too watery, add 1 spoon of flour and mix again; if too dry, add a bit more water.3Step 3: Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 12 hours for a longer rise. For a quicker version, keep it in a warm room and wait until it doubles in size, then proceed to step 5.4Step 4: Preheat the oven to 230°/240°C.5Step 5: Line a baking dish with oiled parchment paper. Transfer the risen dough onto it and gently press it down with the palms of your hands, following the shape of the dish. Do not use a rolling pin, as it will push out the air and prevent bubbles.6Step 6: Mix 50ml of water with 2-3 spoons of oil, pour it gently over the surface, and press your fingers into the dough to create the typical focaccia holes.7Step 7: Add your favorite toppings (here, rosemary and salt) and bake until golden on top, about 15 minutes.8Step 8: Let the focaccia cool on a baking rack before serving.getsaucepan.com/r/c9d063a3-fa6e-4bed-8684-83687b4be32a · Original: https://myitalianflavors.com/baking/the-easiest-italian-focaccia-recipe/
