Tahini Orange Thumbprint Cookies

1. 1Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. 2Step 2: In a food processor bowl, mix the flour, sugar, butter, tahini, and mahlab until crumbs form. Transfer the crumbs to a lightly floured surface and briefly knead into a dough.
3. 3Step 3: Using your hands or an ice cream scoop, form 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
4. 4Step 4: Use your thumb to make an indent in each cookie and fill it to the rim with jam.
5. 5Step 5: Bake for 10 minutes, then cool on a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
