Keep the page flat and well lit, and avoid shadows from your hand. Make a collection for the book so the recipes stay together.
Scan for your own use. Do not publish a cookbook’s recipes.
How to put a cookbook into your phone
In Saucepan, choose Import, then scan, and photograph the page. It reads the text into a recipe you can edit, search and cook from. Do one page per recipe and check the amounts before you save.
