1 Step 1: Combine the garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauces, fish sauce, palm sugar, pepper and cornstarch in a large bowl. Add the beef, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 20 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.2 Step 2: Cook the jasmine rice according to package directions. Fry the eggs sunny-side up if using and keep warm.3 Step 3: Mix the lime juice, ground pepper and sea salt in a small bowl for the dipping sauce. Set aside until the salt begins to dissolve.4 Step 4: Arrange the lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onion on serving plates.5 Step 5: Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering. Spread the beef in a single layer and sear for 30 seconds, then toss. Repeat in batches so the pan is not crowded, until browned on the outside but still tender and pink-free inside.6 Step 6: Return all the beef to the pan, toss briefly to coat in the juices, and cook for 30 more seconds. Remove from the heat as soon as the beef is done.7 Step 7: Serve right away: pile the hot beef onto the bed of lettuce and vegetables, place a fried egg on top if you made them, and set out bowls of steamed rice and the lime-pepper dip alongside.getsaucepan.com/r/6641ce88-859b-5426-828b-354348a48ca1
