Save a recipe from any website, without the ads
On the recipe page in Safari or any browser, tap Share and choose Saucepan. Saucepan saves the ingredients and steps as a clean recipe with no ads or pop-ups. Pages with recipe data show as saved right in the sheet. Your copy opens without the page, so it still works if the site changes.
Free to save. No account needed. iPhone today, Android coming soon.
How it works
Open the recipe page
Any browser works. Safari, Chrome, or the browser inside another app.
Tap Share, then Saucepan
If Saucepan is not in the row, scroll to the end, tap More, and turn it on.
Tap Open Saucepan to review
Pages with recipe data show as saved right in the sheet.
Cook from your copy
Your saved copy opens without the page. No ads, no pop-ups, no scrolling past the story.
When a site does not work
It works for most recipe sites. A few block reading or hide the recipe behind a login. For those, copy the recipe text and paste it into Saucepan.
- Select the ingredients and steps, copy, then paste into Saucepan.
- Or paste the page link into Saucepan.
- A screenshot of the recipe works too.
Then cook it.
A saved recipe opens in Cook Mode: one step at a time, in large type. Tap a time to start a timer. Timers ring like an alarm, even on silent.
Add what you need to Groceries, or add the recipe to your meal plan.

No. The saved recipe is just the ingredients and steps.
What if the site changes or disappears?
Your copy is saved in Saucepan. It does not depend on the page staying up.
Can I use it in an app that is not Safari?
Yes. Anywhere you see Share, you can choose Saucepan.
