Notion is built around a general workspace where you build your own recipe system. Saucepan saves recipes from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and websites, shows which ones you can make tonight, and cooks them hands-free. Pick Saucepan if you want recipes to arrive finished from Instagram, TikTok and websites, without building a system, and to cook from them step by step.

A general tool, not a recipe app
Notion keeps whatever you put in it. It does not read a Reel into ingredients and steps, sort a grocery list or run a timer for you, as far as its own pages say. That is the job Saucepan does.
Free to use, with no ads. Saving, Cook Mode, timers, meal plans, groceries and sharing are free. Saucepan+ is $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial, and includes Family Sharing.
Prices are US dollars from each app’s own pages, checked November 4, 2026. Apps change them. In-app purchase lists on the App Store do not always say how long each one lasts, and we say so when they do not.
